The Real Life Inspiration for HEY YENNY HAN!

Meet Young and Sena Park—a spirited Los Angeles couple with three imaginative daughters and a big dream. As children of immigrants who never had the chance for higher education, Young and Sena deeply value the power of learning. They envisioned a world where their girls could think like scientists, artists, and engineers, tackling problems with both creativity and analytical savvy. Determined to provide the best environment for their daughters to flourish, they wanted to inspire them—and kids everywhere—to approach life with curiosity and confidence.

The Spark Behind HEY YENNY HAN!

During the pandemic lockdown, as the world pressed pause, Young and Sena noticed something missing from their daughters' screens: characters who looked like them, especially in the realms of science and adventure. Where were the Asian American girls leading the way in STEM fields? Sensing a gap in children's programming, they decided to create the change they wished to see. 

Drawing inspiration from the heartwarming family fun of "Bluey" and the inventive genius of "Dexter's Laboratory," they created the idea of Hey Yenny Han—a vibrant series starring Yenny Han as a spunky STEM hero in a show blends imagination, humor, and science to empower young girls, particularly in the Asian American community, to dream big and explore the wonders of the world around them. It's not just a show; it's a mission to inspire a new generation to think creatively, embrace their heritage, and become the heroes of their own stories.
